The 9th Annual Samaritan Swim

January 1, New Years Day, each year at 12:00 Noon

Join us for our annual New Year's Day plunge into the waters of Fisher's Island Sound off Eastern Point Beach in Groton to benefit the homeless and needy of New London County. With full local support and several corporate sponsors, this annual event includes about 100 "swimmers" and hundreds of spectators.  The Samaritan Swim is Malta's single largest fundraising event.  Swimmers collect pledges in advance and turn them in the day of the swim. 

Prizes will be awarded for specific levels of donations collected.

The swim will take place in sun, rain, snow or sleet.
